One of my favorite post-hardcore bands is Enter Shikari. I think they pull of the integration of electronic sounds into their music flawlessly. The Common Dreads album is my personal favorite and I cant wait to see them live this summer at Warped. Anyone else have any thoughts on them?

I dont like them personally, before they got big and they were playing a small bar in Reading I was really really into them then all of a sudden they were being overplayed and were in places like the NME, went really off them then.

They have the odd good tune to be fair, I just stopped liking them for whatever reason. They come across as twats too. Although they get respect from me for their crowd surf stunt at Reading Fest last year, when they basically said to the crowd to all crowd surf over the barrier and literally like half the crowd did, search 'Enter Shikari Reading 2009' on youtube, it's nuts, was during Juggernauts I think.

One of my favourite bands.

Check out 'The Zone' EP.

It kind of explains my user name. IMO great independent band, they're different. They combine elements of post-hardcore and electro which makes them so interesting and they carry a great political message.

Best Live band I've ever seen to be quite honest. I saw them live in December last year not long after hearing Common Dreads. I'd been a big fan of Sorry You're Not A Winner but generally speaking I was just not impressed by their electronic side, cause I was very metulz back then. I love Take To The Skies now, obviously. Common Dreads is still my favourite album, and if i'm lucky they'll play Belfast again this year.

I'd highly recommend their Day 'N Nite cover, it's wicked.

Common Dreads is incredible. Perfection, rather. That's all I've got to say, really. Probably the best album I've heard from 2009.

Take To The Skies is good, but they didn't quite have their S**t together like they do now.

Yeah. I saw them live on the Common Dreads tour and the take to the skies songs were far better. Apparently in the new live show they've got dub interludes and intros for older songs like Johnny Sniper and Mothership. They've played Belfast every year since '06 so I'm just really hopeful they play again this year.

I'll be seeing them for the third time at Leeds Festival [UK] this year. I'm hoping they'll play one, or if i'm lucky two, tracks off the latest LP Triablism. Although it pretty much just consists of remixes, the self titled track and Thumper are both brilliant.

I hadn't heard We Can Breathe In Space prior to Tribalism; it's fucking lovely. All Eyes On The Saint is pretty damn pro too.

Embarrassed to say I never knew of Tribalism until you brought it up. I have it now, though, I love it so far and I like what High Contrast did with Wall. Somewhat a fan of HC's solo work.
